EVOLUTIONARY ASTROLOGY: KNOWING THE MISSION OF THE SOUL.

Since its birth, the human species has always raised its eyes to the sky to observe celestial phenomena, seeking a broader perspective and answers to its questions.

When it comes to astrology, what we should take into account, beyond the widely traveled boundaries of personal horoscopes, is a sacred journey through ancient myths, symbols and esoteric secrets. First of all, astrology is in fact an interpretative technique, which reads in the signs and planets the probable path, mission and innate potential of what is physically born in that precise moment.

Closely linked to the soul and its reincarnation path on the physical level, Evolutionary Astrology, in particular, is aimed at supporting and guiding anyone who finds themselves paralyzed by fear and doubt, through an in-depth analysis of the personality to identify one’s own gifts and understand how to best manage them to get what we need to receive from life.

From this perspective, the planets represent the various functions of the psyche, interacting with each other and being linked to different aspects of one's personal development: rationality, feelings, sensitivity. Through these important archetypal suggestions, our goal is to get to know ourselves and understand more about our individuality and life’s purpose, according to that process that Jung identified as "individuation".

Through unconscious aspects, emotional blockages, strengths and weaknesses, each one of us is unique in their own way. Consequently, Evolutionary Astrology teaches us to work not on stereotypes - as we are often and mistakenly accustomed to expect from horoscopes and astrology that we find at hand - but on the individual itself.

Evolutionary Astrologer, Naturopath and Iridologist, Martina Varini has been studied at the Institute of Natural Medicine of Rimini, in Italy, guided by a great faith in life and the intrinsic intelligence of the human body, for which a symptom is always the effect of a cause.

Over the years, the close and early experience of her childhood family environment with physical and mental illnesses led her to research the origin of the illness from an evolutionary perspective, going beyond the merely physiological aspect. Driven by this continuous and growing need to know the truth about human nature, in her work she combines different and complementary disciplines: Contemporary Iridology, Auriculotherapy, Floritherapy, Spagyria, Psycho-Evolutionary Karmic Astrology, and Merkaba Matrimandir Meditation, with the aim of having and providing a global vision of the individual to support people from a spiritual and psycho-physical point of view.

A Q&A with Martina Varini

How did you come to discover Evolutionary Astrology and what is your personal approach to this discipline?

She found me first. I was drawn to Evolutionary Astrology as soon as I started studying the basics: planets, houses and zodiac signs. During my in-depth research I found the father of AE: Jeffrey Wolf Green and I felt that he would be the right one together with others to use Astrology in a way that I feel it is the most aligned with the needs of our time. I felt it as a sort of protection from Above, like it could be a scale inside me sternly showing me what is right and wrong. I would describe it as an innate discernment towards these disciplines. My pole of attraction was the Truth. I have always been in search of the Truth. I would define my approach Sacred. For me it is like entering the Holy Grail, having the Sacred Temple of the Soul in front of me. I have absolute respect. I humbly enter barefoot, knocking and bowing. Each Birth Chart is a part of the Universe in which to wander. Through others I have the honor of recognizing a part of myself.

What has been the contribution of Evolutionary Astrology to your personal path of growth?

Astrology was essential in giving me faith in the universe. Naturopathy, although useful and functional in the most practical aspects to reharmonize our organism, is lacking of the more subtle aspects of Life. The Invisible. Astrology has that ability to penetrate the depths of the Soul and therefore it has been an immense tool of Self Awareness. Through this discipline I had the opportunity to study and get to know myself, which was actually my only desire: knowing who I am, what I’m doing here and only as a result how can I really be of help to others.

What’s the outline of a 1:1 session with you, and what are the fundamental aspects to investigate in order to get a clear picture of our soul's mission?

The individual session is based on the evolutionary stage of the Soul and what it needs in the present moment. Thanks to an innate intuitive ability, which I have also improved over time through a continuous practice, I feel the Soul of the other person and my job is to remind them of what they came to accomplish. Everyone is a unique and unrepeatable being. In my readings, I prefer to investigate the Unconscious Karmic aspects: Lilith, Chiron, Lunar Nodes and Pluto. They are crucial when it comes to understand the mission of the Soul and its deepest desires. All the rest of the Birth Chart is a function of it. The aim is to bring to consciousness all those aspects that must be transformed for evolutionary purposes.

What is your best advice to those approaching this discipline for the first time, as practitioners or consultants?

My advice is certainly to approach this discipline from a sacred and respectful perspective. There is a lot of superficiality around what is actually an Ancient Art. It is clear that the way in which we use certain tools reflects the level of depth we have reached with ourselves. I would tell you not to settle for the surface, but to dig into the depths. There you will truly find the keys to understanding both the Universe and yourself.

Quando si parla di astrologia, quello di cui dovremmo tenere conto, oltre i confini ampiamente battuti degli oroscopi personali, è un viaggio sacro attraverso miti antichi, simboli e segreti esoterici. Prima di tutto, l’astrologia è infatti una tecnica interpretativa, che legge nei segni e nei pianeti il probabile cammino, la missione e le potenzialità nascoste di ciò che nasce fisicamente in quel preciso istante. 

Strettamente legata all’anima e al suo percorso di reincarnazione nel piano fisico, l’Astrologia Evolutiva, in particolare, mira a sostenere e guidare chiunque si trovi paralizzato dalla paura e dal dubbio, attraverso un’analisi approfondita della personalità per individuare i doni di ciascuno e capire come gestirli al meglio per ottenere ciò che si ha bisogno di ricevere dalla vita.

In quest’ottica, i pianeti rappresentano le varie funzioni della psiche, interagendo tra loro e legandosi ciascuno a un aspetto diverso del proprio sviluppo personale: razionalità, sentimenti, sensibilità. Il nostro compito, attraverso questi importanti suggerimenti archetipi, è conoscersi e capire quale sia il nostro scopo di vita, la nostra individualità, secondo quel processo che Jung identificò come “individuazione”.

Attraverso aspetti inconsci, blocchi emotivi, punti di forza e di debolezza, ognuno di noi è irripetibile. Di conseguenza, l’Astrologia Evolutiva ci insegna a lavorare non sullo stereotipo, come siamo spesso ed erroneamente abituati ad aspettarci dagli oroscopi e dall’astrologia che troviamo a portata di mano, bensì sull’individuo.

Astrologa Evolutiva, Naturopata e Iridologa, Martina Varini si è formata presso l’Istituto di Medicina Naturale di Rimini, guidata da una grande fede nella vita e nell’intelligenza intrinseca nel corpo umano, per cui un sintomo è sempre l’effetto di una causa.

L’esperienza ravvicinata e precoce del suo ambiente familiare infantile con malattie fisiche e mentali, nel corso degli anni l’ha portata a ricercare l’origine della malattia in chiave evolutiva, aldilà dell’aspetto meramente fisiologico. Spinta da questo continuo e crescente bisogno di conoscere la verità sulla natura umana, nel suo lavoro unisce discipline diverse e complementari: l’Iridologia Contemporanea, l’Auricoloterapia, la Floriterapia, la Spagyria, l’Astrologia Karmica Psico-Evolutiva, e la Meditazione Merkaba Matrimandir, con lo scopo di avere e fornire una visione globale della persona per sostenerla da un punto di vista spirituale e psico-fisico.

Un Q&A con Martina Varini

Come ti sei avvicinata all’Astrologia Evolutiva e qual è il tuo personale approccio a questa disciplina?

Lei per prima mi ha trovata. Ho attratto l’Astrologia Evolutiva appena ho iniziato a studiare le basi: pianeti, case e segni. Nelle mie ricerche di approfondimento ho trovato il padre dell’AE : Jeffrey Wolf Green ed ho sentito che lui sarebbe stato quello giusto insieme ad altri per usare l’Astrologia nel modo più allineato alle richieste dei nostri tempi. L’ho sentito come una sorta di protezione dall’Alto, una bilancia dentro di me mi indica con severità ciò che è giusto e sbagliato. Lo descriverei come un discernimento verso queste discipline innato. Il mio polo d’attrazione era la Verità. Da sempre mi trovo alla Ricerca della Verità. Definirei il mio approccio Sacro. Per me è come entrare nel Santo Graal, nel Tempio Sacro dell’Anima che ho di fronte. Ho un rispetto assoluto. Entro umilmente a piedi nudi bussando ed inchinandomi. Ogni Tema Natale è una parte d’Universo  in cui spaziare. Attraverso l’altro ho l’onore di riconoscere una parte di me. 

Qual è stato il contributo dell’Astrologia Evolutiva al tuo personale percorso di crescita?

L’Astrologia e’ stata Essenziale nel donarmi Fede nell’Universo. La Naturopatia per quanto utile e funzionale negli aspetti più pratici a riarmonizzare il nostro Organismo mancava di quel lato più sottile della Vita. L’Invisibile. L’Astrologia ha quella capacità di penetrare nella profondità dell’Anima ed è stata uno strumento di Auto Consapevolezza immenso. Attraverso questa disciplina ho avuto modo di studiarmi e conoscermi. Il mio desiderio era conoscermi. Sapere chi fossi e che cosa ci facessi qua e solo di conseguenza avrei potuto davvero essere d’aiuto agli altri. 

Come si sviluppa una sessione individuale con te, e quali sono gli aspetti fondamentali da indagare per avere un quadro chiaro della missione della propria anima?

La sessione individuale è specifica in base allo stadio evolutivo dell’Anima ed a ciò che necessita nel momento presente. Questo lo faccio grazie ad una capacità intuitiva innata, ma che ho anche raffinato nel Tempo con la pratica. Sento l’Anima dell’altra persona ed il mio compito è ricordarle che cosa è venuta a compiere. Ognuno è un essere unico ed irripetibile. Nella lettura prediligo gli aspetti Karmici Inconsci: Lilith, Chirone, Nodi lunari e Plutone. Loro sono fondamentali per comprendere la missione con cui l’Anima si è incarnata ed i suoi desideri più profondi. Tutti il resto del Tema Natale è in funzione di questi aspetti. L’obiettivo è quello di portare a Coscienza tutti quegli aspetti che vanno trasformati ai fini evolutivi. 

Qual è il consiglio che senti utile dare a chi si approccia per la prima volta a questa disciplina, sia da praticante che da consultante?

Il mio consiglio è sicuramente quello di approcciarsi a questa disciplina con un certo grado di sacralità e rispetto. In giro c’è tanta superficialità e l’Astrologia da un’Arte Antica può diventare di una banalità assurda. E’ chiaro che la modalità con cui facciamo utilizzo di certi strumenti rispecchia il livello di profondità che abbiamo raggiunto con noi stessi. Vi direi di non accontentarvi della superficie, ma di scavare nelle profondità e lì davvero troverete le chiavi per comprendere l’Universo e voi stessi.
